What is the best time to visit Kerala?
October to March is the dry season and the most comfortable for backwaters, hill stations and beaches. The monsoon months of June to August are best if you are coming specifically for ayurveda treatment, which is traditionally taken during that period.
How many days do I need for a Kerala trip?
Five to six nights covers the standard circuit — Kochi, Munnar and an Alleppey houseboat — without feeling rushed. Add two nights if you want Thekkady or a beach stop at Varkala or Kovalam.
Is a houseboat private or shared?
Private. You get the whole boat with a crew of three — a driver, a cook and a guide. Overnight cruises include all meals cooked on board and moor up around 5.30pm, as backwater navigation stops after dusk.
Do you arrange airport transfers?
Yes. Kochi airport is about an hour from the city and roughly two and a half hours from Alleppey. Transfers are included in packages and can be booked separately for arrivals on their own flights.
Can you build a custom itinerary?
That is most of what the agency does. Send your dates, how many people are travelling and roughly what you want to see, and you will get a costed plan to work from.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms depend on the hotels and houseboats in your itinerary, since each has its own policy. The terms that apply to your trip are confirmed in writing with the quotation, before any payment.
