Munnar is a town in the Western Ghats mountain range in India’s Kerala state. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it’s surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails and 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak.

Itinerary

Day 1Cochin

Welcome to Gods Own Country, upon arrival our ever smiling representative will greet you and will later escort you to the hotel in Cochin. Check in and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later enjoy City tour of Cochin – Visit the Mattancherry Dutch Palace – (closed on Fridays and public holidays), which was built by the Portuguese in 1555 and renovated by the Dutch in 1663. Visit the Jewish Synagogue-(closed on all Saturdays and Jewish holidays) in Jew Town and Fort Cochin Area. There are a couple of streets of picture-postcard houses out of another age. Visit St. Francis Church – (closed for visitors on Sundays from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs) the oldest European Church in India. It has several antiquities including a wealth of records. See the Chinese Fishing Nets, along the tip of Fort Cochin unique to this part of Kerala and living symbols of a centuries-old Chinese influence on this coast. Surrender to the comfort of your bedroom at the hotel for the night as your tour starts the day after.

Day 2Cochin - Munnar

Enjoy a lazy morning in the hotel. After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Munnar. Enroute visit, Cheyyara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Attukadu waterfalls, Spice plantations etc. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the day at leisure. Later in the evening, Visit Tata Tea Museum. Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3Munnar

Enjoy a lazy morning in the hotel. After breakfast, Sightseeing destinations includes eravikulam national park (Raja Malai), mattupetty dam, tea estates, eco point, spice plantation, rose garden, photo point, blossom park, kundale dam and top station.You can also enjoy boating in the Lake, rock climbing, trekking (optional). Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4Munnar- Kochi

After breakfast check out the hotel and visiting hydel park then proceeding to cochin by road ,and drop off cochin international airport/ railway station
